This is an ongoing, multi-month engagement supporting United Rentals' global Drupal platform across multiple markets.
My responsibilities span content implementation, CMS validation and functional testing, with the scope evolving alongside the platform itself.
Built and maintained landing pages, product pages and marketing content for the US and Australian websites using two complementary authoring experiences: a component-based page builder for assembling layouts and a structured CMS editor for managing product information, metadata and reusable content. The work required maintaining consistency across both editing workflows while supporting continuous content updates.
As the New Zealand market was introduced, I focused on validating CMS functionality and reusable components before release. This included testing editing workflows, component behaviour and content publishing to ensure a stable experience for content authors.
My current focus is testing the next generation of the platform built on Drupal and the Mercury Editor. The work involves validating CMS functionality, reusable components and authoring workflows that will support future European markets before rollout.
Across these three phases, the project has moved from pure content authoring toward CMS validation and platform-level testing — reflecting a growing role in the evolution of United Rentals' Drupal platform rather than a single, static responsibility.
